This was a contemporary, promenade opera set in a warehouse and skatepark.  Die Fledermaus brought the Made in Chelsea elite to Cardiff for three days.  My design was stripped back to suit the raw, cavernous nature of the venues, so the singers' voices and extravagant characters could fill the spaces.  Chipboard stages dotted the area between the audience so the cast could play with levels and lavish costumes expressed the characters' notoriously indulgent lifestyle.
