The Winter's Tale
Set Assistant
This Shakespeare adaptation was a concoction of nordic noir drama fused with Glastonbury festival flair. The white central platform cut through the darker surounding forest and silver splattered walls. After the interval the platform flew out, revealing multicoloured lights and a grassy stage. There was a lot of texture and painting involved as well as the making of horned headdresses and distressed costumes.
